Welcome to Mole Valley Homechoice, the Council's new way of allocating social housing.
We aim to give you more choice in deciding where you want to live. Properties that are available for rent will be advertised every week from each Thursday at midnight to the following Wednesday at midnight.
You must then tell us which properties you are interested in. This process is known as bidding. You may only bid for a property if your application has been accepted onto our housing register.

04/06/2010 CONSULTATION Mole Valley District Council are currently revising their allocation policy for allocating housing association accommodation. They are therefore consulting with the local community to find out which of the following two systems people feel is the fairest most equitable way to allocate properties. The two options are a points based system, or a banding system. We would like your opinion on which scheme we should go forward with. To access an online questionnaire please click HERE. 09/04/2010 DETAILS OF UPCOMING SOCIAL HOUSING DEVELOPMENTS NOW AVAILABLE A number of exciting new developments are due to be completed in the district over the next couple of years. Details of these can now be found on the Frequently asked questions page or alternatively by click HERE.

22/01/2010 FAQ - NOT ELIGIBLE FOR ANY PROPERTIES. Many Home Choice applicants have queried why sometimes when they log in they get the message 'Currently you are not eligible for any properties'. This is not a problem with your application, it simply means that there are no properties available that have the correct number of bedrooms for your needs. To see other properties that are advertised you can use the property search tab at the top of the page. You should check the website every week as the properties advertised change every Thursday. 15/01/2008 ARE YOUR DETAILS UP TO DATE? New phone? Recently moved? Don't forget to keep us up to date if your contact details change. If you move you will need to complete an updated housing application form. So try to keep us informed and we can do the same for you. Contact details can be found HERE.

08/07/2008 SHELTERED SCHEME OPEN MORNINGS Interested in Sheltered accommodation? Did you know that Mole Valley Housing Association hold open mornings in each of the sheltered schemes (except Dyson Court and Fairfield Court) on the first Tuesday of every month from 10am until midday. Feel free to drop in or contact MVHA for more details on 01306 505 555.

Your bidding position will not take account of our lettings plan. This will mean that the bidding position may not be a true reflection of whether you will receive an offer. For more information click on Lettings Plan.

Your bedroom eligibility is for Mole Valley Homechoice and East Surrey Homechoice. There are slight differences between the policies. This will mean that you may be able to bid for Mole Valley Homechoice properties that you would not necessarily be entitled to under our own policy. For more details click on Bedroom Eligibility.

The pictures of properties that you will see on the property search pages are generic pictures of the roads, blocks of flat or schemes and are meant to give general guidance of the location that the available property is in.

You may NOT AT ANY TIME view the interior of any available property until you have been contacted by the landlord and arrangements for viewing have been made.

If you have been unable to log in please contact us as soon as possible. We may have made a mistake with your registration number or your application may have been suspended due to lack of current information.
